Thanks, I shot with a 5DM2 a while back, and the video menu has a “PAL” option that still shoots 30p! Boo!

Nope. We are still stuck at 30fps for now but a lot of rumors talk about a soon to be release update (!) to correct this. Personally, I dont believe Canon will release another update so quickly but one can always hope! I guess 24fps is high on the list of hacks that Hudson is working on so 24 will happen on the 5D, we just dont know when!

I’d love to know if the new firmware can shoot frame rates other than 30p! 25p “PAL” for example…
